I have just been reading Redesigning Work - How to Transform Your Organization & make Hybrid Work for Everyone by Lynda Gratton (Professor, London School of Business). A very interesting book that is an easy read and adds value.

This brand new book (see photo), Group Dyna-Mix, by Dr Maria Katsarou-Makin is fantastic; she has a unique writing style; very easy to read, and highly suitable for a wide range of audiences. She has a unique way of challenging and investigating leadership practices which have become the 'norm'. Well worth a read in my opinion.

Leadership: Theory and Practice by Peter G. Northouse.

My go-to book on leadership.

I particularly like that:

  • It gives an academically robust account of the major theories and models of leadership with a focus on how theory can inform practice.
  • Whilst comprehensive, the writing style is not overly ‘technical’, there are lots of helpful diagrams and tables.
  • It enables me to compare and contrast the different theories easily.
  • Plenty of case studies and questionnaires.
